Where It Started
Ecomarine Services was founded in 2011 by Michael Sparg, a seasoned professional with decades of experience in commercial diving and ROV operations.
Michael’s work has spanned complex environments, from potable water tanks, reservoirs, and dams to sewerage treatment plants, marine vessels, salvage operations, and search and recovery missions.
Driven by a desire to bring safer, more efficient alternatives to traditional diving methods, Michael established Ecomarine Services to specialise in ROV inspections, ROV cleaning, and maintenance solutions.
His practical, solutions-based mindset remains at the heart of how we operate today.
Our Experience
Ecomarine Services is built on a foundation of technical expertise, operational reliability, and safety. Our team holds a range of qualifications including ADAS Level 3 Commercial Diving, ROV Pilot licenses, a Bachelor of Biological Science (Honours), and a Bachelor of Business.
We’re also trained in advanced resuscitation, CPR, and working at heights, and operate within ISO-accredited systems to ensure high standards in quality, compliance, and safety.
