Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV)
The ROV, is an incredibly cost effective option. It’s quickly deployed and recovered saving both time and money. It is also a much safer option as it reduces diver contact with hazardous situations. It can be operated from land, or vessel. The ROV has many great functions including, a built in video camera providing both still and moving footage.
The ROV is able to travel horizontal lengths of 600m and depths of 300m. It can get into places a diver can’t, and it has several useful attachments, such as a manipulator arm which can remove items such as rubbish or pick up objects.
Its small size means it easily fits through most man holes and is ideal for all types of tank inspections, dam or reservoirs.
